Available in different shades, this highly up-to-date and yet classic-looking popular flooring can be combined with practically any furnishing style. HERRINGBONE lends even the most minimalist ambience a subdued nuance of Art Deco and Art Nouveau. Inevitably, the panels arranged in staggered 90° angles recall the golden age of Viennese cafés, Italian opera houses and classical theatres without impairing the modernity of the interior. With their rectangular arrangement, the individual panels, which are 665 mm long and 133 mm wide, enliven and enrich the effect of the room with classic restraint.
The Benefits of KRONOTEX Laminate
- KRONOTEX laminate flooring predominantly consists of a renewable raw material: wood from sustainably managed forests.
- Laminate floors are ideal for children’s bedrooms, as they don’t contain any plasticisers (phthalates). The German consumer magazine Ökotest even explicitly recommends them.
- Because laminate is installed without nailing or gluing (as floating floors), no adhesive residues result.
- Innovative embossing processes are used to give the surfaces of modern KRONOTEX laminate floors authentic-looking wood grain and stone structures.
- Laminate flooring doesn’t contain any diethylhexyl phthalate (DEHP) and therefore can’t cause any changes in hormone levels.
- At the end of the product lifecycle, laminate flooring can be unproblematically disposed of or burnt as fuel.
- KRONOTEX uses the scrap resulting from the production of laminate flooring as fuel.

We take our responsibility very seriously: by increasing the use of renewable building materials, we contribute to a better, healthier world. And through our production processes, we are already able to produce 90 percent of our thermal energy from renewable sources in a climate-neutral way. At SWISS KRONO, we continuously recycle wood and other raw materials to optimise our processes so that they are truly sustainable and make an active contribution to reducing CO2 emissions.
