Our guarantee of quality for you
KRONOTEX laminate not only meets the prescribed standards, it exceeds them. This is made possible by monitoring production, right from the tree to the finished panel using extensive control and measuring equipment. This is why we offer you warranties that go far beyond the statutory guarantee provisions, which hardly any other manufacturer will be able to provide.
SWISS KRONO TEX GmbH & Co. KG (hereinafter referred to as: KRONOTEX) grants purchasers of KRONOTEX Laminate, in addition to the statutory guarantee provisions that apply without restriction, an additional warranty, valid from the date of purchase, on the abrasion resistance of the surface of KRONOTEX laminate flooring in accordance with the following provisions:
Conditions for guarantee
KRONOTEX laminate panels must be checked for existing defects before and during installation. KRONOTEX laminate flooring installed despite visible defects shall be excluded from the warranty. KRONOTEX laminate flooring must be installed professionally in dry rooms in accordance with the installation instructions and in line with its respective stress class. KRONOTEX laminate flooring installed in wet rooms shall be excluded from the warranty.
Abrasion marks on KRONOTEX laminate flooring must be clearly visible over an area of at least 1 cm2; in particular, the decorative layer must be completely abraded. Abrasions on the element edges and damage caused by extraordinary and improper use, especially mechanical stress, shall be excluded from the warranty. To maintain the warranty, KRONOTEX laminate flooring must be regularly cleaned and maintained according to the care instructions.
Any warranty claims must be made to the dealer within 30 days after the abrasion has been determined, and the original invoice must be submitted. To verify warranty claims, KRONOTEX is entitled to inspect the affected floor on site.
Warranty services
In warranty cases, KRONOTEX will supply a replacement for the damaged elements. If the affected KRONOTEX laminate flooring is no longer available, the buyer can choose a replacement of equivalent quality from the current KRONOTEX product range.
Since it can be assumed that the value of KRONOTEX laminate flooring will decline by 10% per year as a result of use, KRONOTEX shall make any replacement delivery contingent on a corresponding additional payment by the customer.
Any liability for further damage, in particular consequential damage – such as costs associated with the installation, removal and transport of damaged KRONOTEX laminate flooring – is excluded.
