Production Mechanic EFZ

Production mechanics work in mechanical-technical companies. They process metal components and assemble them into various devices, apparatus, machines or building structures. To do this, they read production documents and technical drawings.

They prepare the necessary tools. They carry out their assignments and projects precisely and independently, sometimes in a team and with other specialists. Production mechanics mainly work on metals such as steel, chrome steel or aluminium. They master the processing and connection techniques such as drilling, turning, milling and grinding. Production mechanics assemble and install individual parts or entire assemblies. The assembled devices, apparatus and machines can be very different.
